This is something I have been thinking about for quite a while
As there are a few quality Plastic Instruments such as Trumpets, Trombones, Euphoniums & Tubas available on the market nowadays.
I would like to get a large Group of players together that each either have one of these instruments or looking to buy one soon.
To create a band with the sound of ...... yes plastic!
The larger we can make the group the better!
With the aim to perform a short programme of music approx 1 hour at a place in Milton Keynes (To be decided) sometime during 2017!
With the aim to raise money for a Disability Charity yet to be chosen. Each player gathers his / her sponsors to raise the funds!
I will soon be hopefully creating a Facebook page and a Facebook Group to help promote / communicate this idea.
If this is successful then we can look to doing more all for a good cause.
Disabled people across the UK need help, and are getting lost in our society, so I would like to see if we can help them in anyway we can!
