A Conducting Experience
Has any Brass Band ever thought of offering the opportunity for people to Conduct there Band through a rehearsal?
My thoughts :
Why not offer this opportunity?
Get people to pay for the privilege and raise funds for your Band.
Rates to charge could depend on the Bands standard, higher the grade higher the cost.
It would allow band Conductors the possibility to conduct a higher grade band than they are used to.
Providing Brass Band Conductors more experience.
Also this would allow Brass Band players the chance to try there hand at Conducting.
You never know, you might even find a new star Conductor!
Even if it was offered to the general public, it could be a good money earner for all Brass Bands.
I would appreciate any comments, also if your Brass band does offer this now or probably in the future
