Swindon Brass Musical Director Vacancy
Due to our Musical Director Francis Cowley gracefully retiring at the age of nearly 94, we are seeking a confident, enthusiastic Musical Director to take the band forward. The ideal candidate will have experience of conducting bands, must be free on Monday and Thursday evenings for band rehearsals, and be able to commit to our list of agreed engagements throughout the year. We currently have two engagements booked to take place on 15th and 18th July 2021. Rehearsals take place at All Saints Church Hall, Southbrook Street, Swindon. We anticipate an interview and audition with potential candidates aiming for mid/late June 2021. Any auditions will be carefully arranged around our COVID-19 plans. A bursary is offered for the role depending on experience.
